Hi girls,

It was a surprise to get the email from your mum. I do hope that you can come to the UK this summer for a holiday. It will be great to see you.

I am still working on the buses and thankful to have a job what with the economic climate at the moment. Its quite easy work but the shift patterns are very long and don’t leave much time for a social life. Glad to have got through the winter, its nice that we are well into spring now……looking forward to a hot summer which the forecasters are predicting.

Charlotte is doing well at school but still has no idea what career she wants to pursue, I hope she will make a decision soon for her sakes.

She is going to Prague with her orchestra in the summer which will be an amazing experience for her, I hope it doesn’t coincide with the time you come to see us.

Hi Katey & Valerie

Its February & it’s been snowing in England, in fact we have had the most snow for 18 years. The last time we had a decent amount of snow was when Charlotte was a little girl about your age Katey (4yrs).

Its been a long cold winter here in England so I’m looking forward to the spring & summer. Soon the spring flowers will be showing and that always cheers me up. The hours on the buses are long and varied. Getting up at 3.30am in the depths of winter is hard but I’m doing my best and lucky to have a job what with the global recession. Things look pretty bleak and the pound is very weak against the dollar which means it is getting expensive to visit you. I am trying to save up but the cost of living is making it difficult. I do wish that you could come to England to see me.

Today the buses are not running in London because of the snow so I may not have to go to work later, I’ll have to phone work to see what they say. Charlotte has the day off school, she is very happy as well as me

I miss you both terribly and hope we can see each other soon, in the mean time you are in my thoughts everyday, I hope you are both well and happy.

Hello Girls

Today its your sister Charlotte’s birthday, she is 15 years old and growing up to be a beautiful woman. She has been in a bit of trouble with her mother over her interest in boys but all we can do is tell her about the birds and the bees and hope she is sensible. She’s doing very well at school and is in the top groups in most of the subjects she has chosen. Well done Charlotte.

How is your school Katey? Are you learning lots of new things? I hope you are doing well. I expect you are as you are a very bright girl.

I’m off to take Charlotte out for dinner now so I’ll say goodbye for now BFN

Happy new Year to both of you.

I hope the year to come is full of new experiences for you both especially you Valerie, you will definitely have lots of new experiences & challenges. Walking & talking mmm! I think they will be good ones to master. I’m sorry I missed the call from Mummy, I’ve been working all over Xmas so can’t use my mobile. I’m sure you had a lovely time with your family in America.

Your family here all miss you, me most of all, I am trying to save some money so I can visit you in Woodstock, but things are very tight at the moment, I’ll do my best. I hope that you will visit me soon.

Hi Girls

I have finally received photos from your mother, it only took 3 months to get them, still better late than never. I have asked your mother to bring you to the UK to see me, but I don’t think she will.

Anyway Valerie you are certainly growing, especially your hair. It looks beautiful. Looks like you had a great 1st birthday, I’m sorry that I could not be there with you. I hope you got my card.

Katey you are growing up as well and look more beautiful than ever, not too sure about the superman outfit though. I like the pumpkin you had for halloween. Did you help to make it?

Christmas is nearly upon us and it looks like I will be spending it working, still its good money so I’ll save some & come to see you when I get my next holiday.

Chalotte is coming over to stay tomorrow then she is off skiing with the school for a week, I think she’ll enjoy that.

It was lovely to get some recent photos of you both, lets hope I get some more of your Xmas time.
