The morning has arrived too quickly. Today you are leaving, today is a sad day, today I won’t know when I will next see your beautiful smiling, happy face…..

It’s not fair that you spent six weeks in France and only four days with me in England.
There is only one person responsible for this.

We have breakfast and a lovely cuddle, then we must get all your things packed and take you down to mummy. She is not ready, as usual so we go to Morelli’s for one last ice cream. I can’t help myself and start to cry. It’s a very sad time and your warm words are just too much (”Don’t cry daddy, I love you”), then you start to cry. You have so much emotion & love within you…..I hope that you can survive.

Valerie you are still too young to know anything, but it has been lovely seeing you. I never got the chance to bond with you because your mother took you to America, you were only 3 months old. I saw as much as I could of you when you were still in England.

Its time to get the train, more tears, cuddles & goodbyes then you are gone…..I feel so, so sad
