Dear Children

Its been a long time since I saw you or spoke to you. I have emailed your mother regularly asking for photos and information about how you at doing at school etc.

I am now working in London and have a flat here. This very expensive and most of my money goes on rent and living.

The job involves shift work and long hours, which is a bit gutty sometimes, but it’s a job. I only get 4 weeks holiday a year, which is allocated by the company, so I don’t yet when my holiday is. Christmas is coming soon and I know I am working over all of it. I wish your mother would bring to England for a week so I can see you.

Charlotte is doing well at school and is beginning to be interested in boys, which has upset her mother, but hopefully she will be a sensible girl and keep up her studies. She is growing up so quick.

I have been busy writing more songs in my spare time, I’m pleased to say that they are getting better…..so maybe one day I will get that elusive publishing deal.

I hope you are well, and enjoying yourselves in Woodstock, hope to be back there soon if I can raise the funds
